Discover the Healthful Benefits of Reiki and Kundalini Yoga
What is Reiki?
REIKI is an ancient Japanese Hand-healing art that was rediscovered in 1921 by Dr Mikao Usui and is now known throughout the world as The Usui System of Natural Healing.
REIKI is a powerful healing modality that is applied both physically and mentality. Its practice refreshes the body and creates a positive, uplifting effect on the spirit.
REIKI employs simple, yet effective techniques that include simple hand positions (touching or non-touching) that can be applied to oneself as well as to others, including pets.
= Reiki Attunements =
REIKI translated means Universal Life Force Energy. Students gain focused access to this energy during their course through the administration of special attunements.
REIKI comprises three degrees, or levels. The corresponding attunement for each level is administered at the appropriate time by our tutor, Noriko Kikuchi.
Noriko is a Certified Master and Teacher of Usui Reiki and the Usui System of Natural Healing and is a member of Reiki New Zealand Incorporated, the national organization for Reiki in New Zealand and an affiliate member of the New Zealand Charter of Health Practitioners.
= Reiki Symbols =
Included in the study of Reiki are several important symbols, each of which functions as a conduit for a specific application of Reiki Healing. Reiki symbols are introduced at Reiki II and III.
The principles of Reiki Healing and how the Reiki symbols are used can be learned in just a few hours through Noriko's comprehensive introductory courses.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Often referred to as the mother of all Yogas, Kundalini Yoga is an empowering form of yogic science that for centuries was shrouded in a tradition of secrecy.
In 1968 the benefits of Kundalini Yoga were introduced to the West from India by the inspirational master, Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D.
Yogi Bhajan described Kundalini Yoga as "The Yoga of Awareness". It is an uplifting yogic discipline that heightens mental acuity and stimulates glandular and nervous system function. Results are achieved through the practice of special breathing exercises, dynamic body postures, appropriate mantras and focused meditation which work synergistically to promote and maintain good physical, mental and spiritual health.
Yogi Bhajan's authentic style is faithfully taught by veteran instructor Noriko Kikuchi, a KRI Certified* Kundalini Yoga Teacher and member with professional standing of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (click here).

With Noriko's guidance students learn how to eliminate unhealthy imbalances and restore their being to a natural, wholesome state. Regular practice fosters good health and promotes a sense of well-being accompanied by renewed vigor and vitality.
An introductory course of eight 75-minute lessons is available for beginners. The techniques involved are quite easy to learn and provide the novice with a sound foundation for continuing practice.
